Systems Engineer

Talascend is currently seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Glendale, Arizona . Overview This role involves supporting the Air Revitalization Systems team by contributing to the design, build, integration, and qualification of a new product utilizing advanced technology. Next Define and execute verification and validation strategies, including test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria Ensure requirements traceability and compliance with applicable MIL-STD documents and customer specifications Support system architecture definition, interface development, and system modeling activities Lead system integration and verification efforts in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Partner with scientists and engineering experts to translate emerging technology into validated system performance Provide technical leadership, guide junior engineers, and support design reviews Generate engineering documentation, perform trade studies, and present findings to internal teams and customers Ensure adherence to processes, engineering rigor, and configuration control Qualifications Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, or related technical field Proven experience developing or executing verification and validation plans and system test strategies Experience with requirements management tools such as
