Job Description

The Qualification Testing (BEV and ICE) team operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the Vehicle & Propulsion Controls department. The ideal candidate for this position is a strong team player willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Our mission is to isolate software bugs in electrified and ICE powertrains, ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality software to the development fleet.

As part of missions and objectives of direction
PDT/PRS/PVPC/QTBF
within of LCVV, the test executor is in charge of (Key Responsibilities):

Design Tests Verification Plans (DVPs) following Stellantis requirements and documentation, with a subsystem focus on Propulsion electronic control unitsEvaluate the appropriate testing environment for DVPs development: real (vehicle) and/or virtual environment (HIL)Analysis of Stellantis standards and technical documentationBringing technical expertise on its function to
PVPC/QTBF
in technical analysis on PRS ECU, support and training of QTBF teamsPerform issue pre-analysis to identify potential root causes and solutions.

Identify critical and edge-case maneuvers to expose potential failuresConduct testing on propulsion system architectures using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and vehicles. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of powertrain software validation, ensuring the performance and reliability of cutting-edge vehicle technology
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or System Engineering or related degree fieldA minimum of 5 years of experienceFundamental knowledge of ICE and Electric automotive architectureEmbedded software development backgroundAnalytical & interdisciplinary thinking, problem solving skillsSelf-motivated and drive for resultsCollaborative mindsetSelf-reliant, well-structured and organized working styleGood communication skills and the ability to interface with internal stakeholdersGood team working skills in an international environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or System EngineeringExperience with HIL Hardware in the loop Simulator (dSPACE) HW and SW test environment including Plant Models, Harnesses, Load boxes, FIUs, Controllers etc.

Experience with ALM tools such as but not limited to: DOORs, PTC Integrity, Rational Quality Manager (RQM), Rational Team Center (RTC) etc.

Knowledgeable in CARB OBD and Federal Diagnostic requirementsExperience with vehicle testingKnowledge of agile methodology to support/develop the daily activitiesKnowledge of Automotive Network Communication (CAN, LIN...)Knowledge of SW analysis tool for electronic control unit/network (CANalyzer - Vector, INCA, etc.)Knowledge in model-based development with e.g. Matlab/SimulinkFamiliarity of Automotive Product Development V-CycleThe Qualification Testing (BEV and ICE) team operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the Vehicle & Propulsion Controls department.
