W2 Contract About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Verification Engineer I to join a collaborative software verification team supporting innovative medical device technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career engineers looking to develop hands-on experience in software testing, verification, and quality processes within a regulated environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, eager to learn, and passionate about ensuring software quality through thorough testing and documentation. Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain software verification test cases and test protocols. Analyze software requirements and design effective verification strategies. Create new test suites to support product enhancements and new functionality. Perform verification activities, including dry runs and formal testing. Set up and configure test equipment and test environments. Document test results and maintain accurate records in accordance with quality standards. Identify, document, and support resolution of software defects. Participate in requirements, design, and test reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development, systems engineering, and quality teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated project, internship, or academic experience that showcases technical aptitude. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to software verification, validation, or testing activities. Internship, academic project, or professional experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, or regulated industries. Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts. Knowledge of FDA-regulated or ISO-compliant environments. Exposure to electrophysiology (EP), cardiac mapping, or medical device systems.
