505728 Associate Applications Engineer - Hardware Assisted Verification Siemens EDA is a global technology leader in Electronic Design Automation software. In this position, you will be involved in a structured Associate Applications Engineer Training Program. This is a fast-track training program that challenges you to develop the expertise needed to solve difficult technical problems. Associate Applications Engineers are members of a team of highly motivated individuals working with customers designing the most complex hardware and software systems in the world and whose applications span the electronics industry. This on-the-job training program will give you unique insight into our product support, sales and technical marketing organizations. Upon successful completion of this12-month training program, you will be eligible to advance into one of these organizations. Post program opportunities include Field Applications Support Engineer, Field Applications Engineer and Product Engineer positions.
Requirements:
Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Newer college graduate - graduate from June 2025 - June 2026 Course work project experience, and programming skills in languages such as C/C++ or Python. Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. Coursework/Experience with HDL-based, register-transfer-level (RTL), digital logic design, verification languages, and functional verification methodology, for ASICs and/or FPGAs. This experience/coursework should include some or all of the following: FPGA usage, testbench architecture, verification methodology and simulation in SystemVerilog/Verilog. Additional requirements for all Associate Applications Engineering positions include: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem solving skills. Some travel may be required. Applicants must be willing and able to relocate anywhere within the USA upon completion of training. (may not be required for this position) Why us? Transform the Everyday The hourly range for this position is $32.69 to $58.84 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
