Job Description
ResponsibilitiesLead planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects including treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, and related civil worksServe as Project Manager for multi-discipline projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and qualityAct as primary point of contact for municipal and utility clientsPrepare and review technical reports, design drawings, specifications, and cost estimatesCoordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders including subconsultants, agencies, and contractorsSupport permitting and regulatory compliance efforts at the local, state, and federal levelProvide technical mentorship to junior staff and contribute to project team developmentAssist with proposal development and client interviews on an as-needed basisQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) license required8 to 15+ years of experience in water and/or wastewater engineering consultingDemonstrated experience managing municipal infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of treatment processes, conveyance systems, and public agency design standardsProven ability to manage client relationships and lead project teamsClear communicator with strong writing and presentation skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience working directly with municipal utilities or public agenciesFamiliarity with funding programs, grant support, and infrastructure delivery methodsExperience overseeing construction administration or engineering during construction servicesWhat the Firm OffersLong-term, stable public sector work with repeat clientsMeaningful leadership role with autonomy and visibilityCollaborative team environment with technical depthCompetitive compensation and benefits package
