Water Resources Engineer Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects - 3.6 Denver, CO Job Details Full-time $95,000 - $145,000 a year 3 hours ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance Paid time off Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Bachelor's degree Design engineering Bachelor's degree in civil engineering Full Job Description Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a Water Resources Engineer with 4-10 years of experience to support our Water Resources Group in our Denver, Colorado office. As part of our team, you will perform analysis and design as a Project Engineer on difficult to complex water resource-related projects for our municipal clients and support the work of other divisions within the firm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide project engineering and task management on water resources design projects. Supervise and delegate work to junior engineers and support staff as necessary to manage specific hydraulic engineering tasks within larger complex projects. Conduct stormwater collection systems modeling and design. Perform floodplain, inundation, and hydrologic studies. Perform sediment transport and scour analyses to support water resources projects. Assist in water resources permitting efforts. Collect, evaluate, and present data in technical reports and oral presentations. Assist in the preparation of engineering plans and specifications for design of detention facilities, storm drains, flood control facilities and other hydraulic structures. Work independently and within multidisciplinary teams of geomorphologists, biologists, planners, emergency managers, and additional hydraulic and water resources engineers. Contribute to business development, marketing, and proposal preparation efforts.
Required Experience:
Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering Master's degree in with an emphasis in Hydrology and/or Hydraulics (or related) is preferred. 4-10 years of increasingly responsible, professional experience in the study, design, and construction administration of water resource-related projects Colorado Professional Engineer License, or ability to obtain within 6 months Please note that Wilson & Company is not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas.

Denver, Colorado Annual Salary Range:
$95,000 - $145,000+ depending on experience
