We are seeking an Engineer to support our Water Conveyance (Pipeline and Storage) team while also providing technical support to our Transportation - Ports & Maritime Group in North Florida. This role will support the planning, design, and coordination of water, wastewater, conveyance, and mechanical systems, as well as site civil infrastructure associated with utility facilities, port facilities, and maritime infrastructure, enabling integrated project delivery across water and transportation markets. The position will contribute to active and upcoming port facility projects, supporting civil and structural teams where utility, conveyance, pumping, drainage, and mechanical systems interface with port and terminal infrastructure. You'll use your skills and experience to solve challenging conveyance and utility system designs involving a range of pipe sizes, pressures, and mechanical components. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Water and Transportation to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Support planning, design, and analysis of water and wastewater conveyance and storage systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and associated mechanical components Provide technical engineering support for Ports & Maritime projects, particularly utility, drainage, conveyance, and site civil elements serving port and maritime facilities Prepare engineering calculations, design drawings, technical memoranda, and specifications Coordinate with civil, mechanical, structural, and transportation disciplines to support integrated project delivery Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop and review engineering drawings and layouts Collaborate with GID teams and adhere to Jacobs' quality and design standards Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering 4+ years of professional engineering experience Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Required experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D Experience working with PDF editors (Bluebeam preferred) Ideally, you'll also have Prior experience with water, wastewater, conveyance, or utility systems supporting transportation, port, or maritime infrastructure Professional Engineer (PE) license Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling tools such as InfoWater, PCSWMM, EPA SWMM, SewerGEMS, InfoWorks, or InfoSWMM Familiarity with active port or industrial facility environments LI-DL1 Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
