Job Description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead end-to-end water and wastewater projects in the Buffalo region, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. You will act as the primary client interface, shaping proposals and technical submissions while upholding regulatory and quality standards. You'll guide engineers and specialists, balancing multiple active projects to maintain client satisfaction and project performance. This opportunity lets you drive impactful infrastructure work that supports environmental sustainability in a reputable, growing consultancy.

  • Own end-to-end delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure assignments from planning to completion
  • Direct project execution by coordinating internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders
  • Monitor project performance against budgets, timelines, and technical expectations
  • Serve as primary client interface, managing expectations and communications
  • Contribute to technical submissions, bids, and supporting documentation
  • Ensure outputs meet industry standards, regulatory frameworks, and internal quality benchmarks
  • Balance priorities across multiple active projects to maintain delivery consistency and client satisfaction
  • Provide guidance and technical support to junior team members Tasks
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline
  • Extensive experience delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects in consulting/engineering
  • Demonstrated project leadership across planning, coordination, and execution phases
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent
  • Strong technical understanding of water and wastewater systems and regulatory considerations
  • Solid commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and resources
  • Ability to build and maintain effective client and internal relationships
  • Familiarity with project delivery tools and standard engineering software
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills Key requirements
