at Insight Global, LLC in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Senior Process Engineer for a permanent, direct-hire opportunity that sits 100% onsite in Boise, ID. This Process Engineer will be responsible for designing water and wastewater treatment plants. This includes preparation of proposals and various other process engineering tasks. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and provide technical expertise during proposal development. They will be working closely with the Process & Application Engineering team to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience in the water/wastewater industry and possess strong knowledge of membrane processes in water treatment. This is a permanent/direct-hire opportunity with a company that is expected to grow rapidly over the next several years.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement new treatment processes and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop water/wastewater treatment process train along with the process team.
Perform equipment design/Sizing.
Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams ( PFD ), Heat and Mass balance & Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs).
Coordinate proposal development with internal teams (BD, engineering, process, Projects, operations, safety), as required.
Participate in technical evaluation process for vendor selection and risk assessment process.
Develop project costing through lifecycle of the project and submit to business development for pricing.
Prepare and deliver client proposals on time and with the highest work quality.
Participate and present in customer meetings if required (Bid Clarifications/ HAZOP / HAZID / FMEA study)
Preparing detail process engineering deliverables (control logic, data sheets. Commissioning, Pre-commissioning procedures etc.) work with project & engineering team closely to assist them after the award of project.
Support commissioning / site related activities where and when required.
Maintain good communication with all stakeholders and provide visibility on direction and results.
Perform design calculations using membrane simulation tools, statistics, data reconciliation software.
Develop and optimize treatment processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Ensure all design work is completed in compliance with the company's standards, policies, and procedures.
Review and approve project documents, including process design basis, process design packages, and equipment specifications.
Provide technical training to internal and external customers on treatment processes and related technologies.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies, trends, and regulations related to water and wastewater treatment processes.
Evaluate current treatment processes and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials for treatment processes.
Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance for all activities under their control.
Develop project kickoff packages and turnover project documentation to the execution team.
