Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a diverse technical background and extensive client-facing experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This individual will lead multidisciplinary teams, support business development, and manage a wide range of project types, from conveyance and collection systems to treatment facility design. This is a pivotal role was we launch this new service line, offering an exciting opportunity for long-term growth and leadership. The selected candidate may choose Indianapolis or Noblesville as their home office. We believe in client-focused solutions, trust, teamwork, and expertise, all while having fun along the way. Wastewater Treatment Engineer:
Lead the design and delivery of water/wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities and conveyance systemsServe as a subject matter expert in permitting, treatability studies, process optimization, and system operationsManage scope, schedule, budget, and quality for multiple projectsOversee and mentor engineering teams, coordinating with other disciplines as neededConduct site visits and maintain strong client relationshipsSupport business development through client outreach, proposal preparation, and cost estimatingPromote safety and quality standards across all project phasesProvide leadership and mentorship to junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environmenWhat You Need to
Succeed:
Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering (master's degree a plus)Professional Engineer (PE) license required8-10+ years of progressive experience in water and wastewater treatment infrastructure projectsProven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects and teamsStrong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactionsExpertise in current engineering technologies, codes, and practices relevant to water/wastewater systemsSelf-starter with a collaborative mindset and leadership potential
