Job Description

Civil Water Resource Engineer A fast-growing family company, is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer specializing in water resources to join their team and lead teams and projects. This is an amazing opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about civil engineering and looking to grow their careers with a reputable organization.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop water resource engineering projects
  • Develop and review project proposals to meet client needs
  • Coordinate design with project manager while maintaining great client relations
  • Implement stormwater management strategies and solutions
  • Coordinate labor and equipment resources
  • Review plans, specifications, and estimates at various project stages to insure completeness and accuracy
Position Essential Job Functions:
  • Utilize working knowledge of design standards to create innovative engineering solutions
  • Apply expertise in AASHTO, MUTCD, WEG, APWA, and AWWA to ensure compliance and quality
  • Utilize ArcGIS, InfoSWMM, and CAD software for data analysis and project design
  • Conduct field surveys and inspections to gather data for engineering projects
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and project updates
Position Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field
  • EIT or PE License Required
  • 3-5 years in Civil Engineering, Water/Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Water/Sewer Mains, Pump Stations and Storm Facilities
  • Proficiency in using design software and tools including ESRI ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, KYPipe, SewerGEMS, WaterCAD, HEC-RAS, and Microsoft applications
  • Strong project management, leadership, and technical writing/communication skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
