Design, review, and manage water distribution and infrastructure projects Prepare and evaluate engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports Perform system assessments, modeling, and data analysis Manage capital improvement projects from planning through construction and completion Review development and construction plans to ensure compliance with regulations and standards Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, engineers, and stakeholders Participate in public meetings and provide technical expertise Ensure all projects meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirementsMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field 3 to 5 years of engineering or construction-related experienceLicenses:
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required Valid driver's licenseAlternate Consideration:
Candidates without a Professional Engineer license may be considered for an Engineering Specialist role with a salary range of $31.80 to $39.13 per hour.What You Bring:
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, water systems, and infrastructure design Experience with engineering design software and technical documentation Ability to analyze complex data and develop practical solutions Strong communication skills for both technical and public-facing interactions Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Commitment to quality, accuracy, and public servicePosition Highlights:
