Overview A multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join its growing team around the Charlotte, NC area. Specialising in civil engineering, water resources, and infrastructure services, this firm works closely with municipalities and local communities to deliver projects that enhance and sustain vital public infrastructure. About the Role As a Water Resources Engineer, you will support the planning, design, and delivery of a wide range of municipal water and infrastructure projects. Working alongside experienced engineers and project managers, you will play a key role in developing engineering solutions that improve water systems and community resilience. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of water resources and municipal infrastructure projects Support project planning, analysis, and execution alongside senior engineers Prepare technical reports, calculations, and engineering documentation Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analysis to support design solutions Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and public agencies to deliver projects Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards Contribute to problem-solving and development of practical engineering solutions These responsibilities reflect a hands-on role focused on both technical delivery and professional development, within a supportive team environment.
