Our Geotechnical Team is growing and we are looking for an Senior Field Engineer to join us. We are seeking highly motivated individual with excellent technical and interpersonal skills to work with our talented team in delivering outstanding service to our clients.
About the role:
Assist in conducting earthworks & civil infrastructure design, and reporting for projects involving tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, and other mine infrastructure. Support int the preparation of design drawings and specifications, from initial scoping studies through to detailed design and construction phases. Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and project documentation to support client needs and project milestones. Develop accurate and comprehensive engineering and construction cost estimates to support project budgeting and planning. Collaborate effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring timely and successful project execution. Travel to client sites within the US, Mexico and internationally to support project activities.About You:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a closely related field. 10+ years of field experience in relevant roles. Earthworks and Site investigation experience a must Mechanical systems QA experience is preferred Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D is required. Hands-on experience processing topographical data and satellite images. Familiarity with tools like Global Mapper and QGIS is considered an asset. Knowledge and experience in water resources (hydrology, calculations, and design) are highly desirable. Why Ausenco? Salary Range:
