Job Description
Loudoun Water, located in Ashburn VA is a public utility that provides water and wastewater service to customers in Loudoun County. We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our Water Operations team. This role supports water supply, sustainability, and resiliency initiatives while helping maintain our strong partnerships across the region. You will collaborate cross-departmentally, contribute to studies and analyses that drive long-term water resource planning, and represent Loudoun Water in regional forums and technical discussions. This position will play a vital role in advancing water supply program components, assisting with permit compliance, supporting reservoir and operational modeling, contributing to drought and water quality evaluations, and participating in research that improves system performance and resiliency. The Environmental Engineer will also support capital project planning, manage consultants and contractors, and engage with partner utilities, research institutions, and regulatory agencies. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with an eye for detail and excellent technical and communication skills.
