Lead Engineer
  • Water Overview A water/wastewater engineering-focused firm is seeking a Lead Engineer to support infrastructure-related projects.
The team works on complex systems that contribute to environmental protection, public utility services, and community resilience. The work environment emphasizes collaboration, technical quality, and professional growth. Role Summary This position involves supporting infrastructure projects related to fluid conveyance systems and associated facilities. The role includes both planning and design responsibilities, contributing to the delivery of sustainable and reliable engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Perform engineering work related to infrastructure systems and associated mechanical facilities Contribute to planning, analysis, and design activities Prepare technical documentation, including reports and memoranda Develop plans, specifications, and project documentation Assist in preparing cost estimates and project evaluations Conduct system modeling and performance analyses Evaluate alternative design approaches and recommend solutions Produce technical deliverables in various formats Qualifications Self-motivated with strong initiative and problem-solving abilities Solid understanding of core engineering principles and analytical methods Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team Experience collaborating with technical peers and stakeholders Professional engineering licensure Early
