Job Description

Currently seeking a Water Resources Project Manager to join a collaborative and dynamic team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for complex environmental and civil engineering challenges. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, contractors, regulators, and local government officials on projects that make a meaningful impact on communities. You will contribute to projects involving stormwater management and compliance, watershed and floodplain management, NFIP permitting and map revisions, flood mitigation analyses, stream restoration and mitigation, dam safety engineering, waterways development, bridge and culvert design, water resources permitting, and MS4 services. From concept through construction, you'll be involved in analysis, design, plan development, permitting, bidding, and construction engineering. This position is based in Milwaukee, offering a convenient location, workplace flexibility, and a supportive team culture. Key Responsibilities Lead advanced engineering design tasks for complex water resources projects. Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support design and assessment of surface water systems and infrastructure. Develop and review hydrologic and hydraulic models and simulations. Prepare detailed plans, specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports, including permit application support. Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews. Mentor and train junior staff. Manage water resource projects and tasks. Support client management and business development initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil, Water Resources, or Biosystems Engineering (or related field). Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in Wisconsin or ability to obtain. 7+ years of water resources engineering experience. Preferred Skills Strong problem-solving abilities with creativity and sound judgment. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and think critically. Project management, time management, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
