Responsibilities Provide one-on-one or small group (2-4 students) tutoring sessions in high school subjects (regular, honors, AP). Simplify & break down complex concepts into clear, easy-to-understand steps. Help students prepare for SAT/ACT standardized tests. Help students prepare for tests, projects and homework assignments. Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and academic goals. Assist students with test preparation, and study strategies. Track progress and communicate results with students and parents. In-person classes only, making sure the students achieve maximum understanding of the subjects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (completed or currently enrolled) in a related field. Previous tutoring or teaching experience at the high school level would be helpful. Strong knowledge of the high school curriculum and SAT/ACT English section. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Patient, dependable, and encouraging teaching style. Flexible schedule with afternoons, evenings, and weekends available. Work with motivated students in a supportive & goal-oriented environment. Must have transportation to come to our location near Fremont DMV. This position is in-person only.
