Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with proper endorsements (BA/BX) and evidence of MTTC scores ESL Endorsement (NS) preferred or willing to obtain Must meet

MCL 380.1531

& Administrative Rules Governing the Certification of MI Teachers Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education and/or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable

DUTIES:

Differentiate lessons for specific reading abilities Implement literature circles Use research based instructional techniques Oversee small group and whole group instruction Provide a learning environment that is trauma informed Provide instruction to address the State Benchmarks Use appropriate technology tools Complete records in a timely manner Communicate to all members of the school & community Meet the physical and mental demands of the teaching profession and the position Work cooperatively with staff Follow requirements of supervisors Provide classroom instruction and keep accurate student records Maintain a philosophy in accord with Lincoln Park Public Schools Other duties as assigned
