The Enhanced Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides person-centered support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities receiving Enhanced In-Home and Community Supports (IHCS). Services are provided in the individual's home and community in accordance with the Individual Support Plan (ISP), Behavior Support Plan (BSP), PA

regulations, and agency policies and procedures. Enhanced DSPs support individuals with complex behavioral and/or medical support needs. This role promotes independence, community integration, skill development, personal growth, health, and safety while maintaining the dignity and respect of each individual served. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and individualized support to participants in home and community settings. Implement individualized support strategies, behavior support plans, and person-centered goals identified in the Individual Support Plan (ISP). Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, mobility, and household tasks. Support individuals in developing independent living skills, communication skills, and social/community engagement. Utilize positive behavior support techniques and approved crisis intervention strategies when necessary. Monitor and report changes in behavior, medical condition, or overall well-being. Complete accurate and timely documentation, including daily notes, behavioral data, incident reports, and medication documentation, as required. Transport individuals to appointments, recreational activities, community outings, and other approved activities as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including Program Specialists, Behavior Specialists, nurses, therapists, Supports Coordinators, and family members. Maintain compliance with

regulations, agency policies, HIPAA requirements, and mandatory training requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for individuals receiving services. Requirements Possession of one or more of the following preferred qualifications: RN or LPN license, CNA certification, RBT certification, BCaBA credential, or a bachelor's degree in psychology, education, special education, counseling, social work, gerontology, or a related field. Completion of required NADD training may substitute for the above qualifications. Knowledge of

regulations and ability to maintain compliance in daily practice. Successful background check and required in-service trainings At least 18 years old Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance, inspection and registration Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and communities Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact $1,000 sign-on bonus is valid for applicants effective 1/1/2025. Sign-on bonus is paid in two increments: $500 is paid after the caregiver has worked 500 hours from the start date and another $500 is paid out after the caregiver has worked 1,000 hours from the start date. Caregiver must be active at the time of bonus payout and be at a minimum of an 85% electronic visit verification to receive the sign-on bonus. Bonuses will be paid within 30 days of reaching eligibility. New caregivers as well as previous caregivers who have not worked for Help at Home within one year will be eligible for the bonus. Caregivers transferring from an organization within the Help at Home, LLC portfolio of companies are not eligible to receive the bonus.
