Job Description
The Coventry Village School is looking for a dynamic individual to oversee and expand our comprehensive enrichment programming. This role will coordinate a variety of K-8 enrichment opportunitiesKey responsibilities include developing standards-based alternative education units centered around life skills, collaborating with grade-band teams to identify student interest areas, and designing engaging academic programming that builds on student strengths and passions. The Enrichment and Innovation Coordinator will also serve as the primary contact for the Coventry Foundation, manage ongoing grants and small-scale grant administration, and coordinate schoolwide enrichment initiatives such as 2-week residencies, field trips, special programming, the Showcase of Learning, Middle School Symposium, and Choice Academy.

Lead Science and Engineering instruction for Pre-K through 2nd grade studentsFacilitate K-5 FIT Literacy Blocks to support foundational reading and writing skillsDevelop and implement 6-8 Service Learning Projects and Life Skills programmingCoordinate K-8 enrichment opportunities and special learning experiencesServe as primary contact and grant writer for the Coventry FoundationPlan and execute schoolwide enrichment initiatives, including two week-long residencies, field trips, and special programmingOrganize and facilitate Showcase of Learning events to celebrate student achievementSupport and coordinate Middle School Symposium programmingOversee Choice Academy offerings and student choice opportunitiesManage small-scale ongoing grants and associated budgetingDesign and implement service learning projects that connect student learning to community needsBring dynamic, creative, and collaborative energy to all enrichment initiativesDemonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to evolving school and student needsCandidates must have or be eligible for appropriate Vermont licensure.

Salary & Benefits:
As per the Teachers Negotiated Agreement.
