Entry Level Automotive Parts Associate

Mercedes-Benz of Rockville Centre is looking for an entry level Parts Associate to help support our Parts team and Parts Manager. The ideal candidate will flourish in a fast-paced and professional workplace, as well as provide our customers will excellent service.

Scan, Ship and Receive daily parts orders Properly put away parts in bin locations Perform perpetual inventory with weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner Be able to learn and understand the Mercedes Benz parts stocking process Answer phone calls and effectively utilize company software (ex. Microsoft teams) Review body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct Provides high level service to internal and external customers. Pull and fill orders from stock Accurately pick parts from inventory for pending orders Run parts to technicians in shop Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention. Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up Be able to drive for local deliveries as needed Retain, process and maintain all warranty parts returns Fill, pack and label online orders Maintain factory & internal training Additional warehouse duties as needed We are all about the growth opportunities and will train the right candidates in their automotive career!

Qualifications:

Have a High School Diploma or equivalent Have experience with auto parts sales (or retail experience) Excellent organizational skills Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment Have strong organizational and time management skills Well groomed and presentable in a luxury retail environment Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Yearly Salary Range:

$34,000.00 - $65,000.00
