Cannabis Field Tech (Entry-Level | Temporary-to-Permanent)

Overview:

New Cannabis Farm is hiring dependable, hard-working individuals to join our Field Tech team. This is an entry-level, temporary-to-permanent position within a regulated cannabis cultivation environment. No prior cannabis experience required.

Responsibilities:

Assist with planting, watering, pruning, and harvesting cannabis plants Perform routine crop care (trimming, defoliation, general plant maintenance) Monitor plant health and report pests, disease, or deficiencies Maintain clean, organized work areas Follow all company procedures and state compliance regulations Complete basic tracking and task documentation

Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age or older (state requirement) Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with Massachusetts cannabis regulations Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in agriculture, landscaping, or outdoor labor Interest in plant care or the cannabis industry

Pay & Schedule:

$20.00 hour (based on experience) Full-time hours with potential for overtime Opportunity for permanent hire based on performance
