Job Description:
Job Summary:
The company is seeking a Production Associate to support the manufacturing and assembly of complex electro-mechanical equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves hands-on assembly, material handling, inventory coordination, quality inspections, and production support activities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience working in manufacturing settings, and the ability to follow standardized work instructions and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electromechanical assembly using assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists
  • Gather tools, materials, and subassemblies required for daily production activities
  • Support material handling operations including moving, staging, and delivering production components
  • Operate pallet jacks, carts, scanners, and other material handling equipment safely
  • Assist with kitting, labelling, and organization of inventory and production materials
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, tracking, and system documentation
  • Perform assembly, repair, rework, and troubleshooting tasks as required
  • Follow written work instructions and complete production-related system data entry
  • Conduct quality inspections and document production results accurately
  • Adhere to manufacturing safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workplace standards
  • Support daily production execution and maintain organized supply inventory
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds safely
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow English work instructions
  • Experience using handheld scanners, computers, or production tracking systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Ability to perform repetitive production and assembly tasks efficiently
  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented manufacturing setting
  • Experience using power tools, hand tools, or mechanical equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or production experience
  • Experience with ERP, MES, or inventory management systems
  • Ability to interpret work instructions, manufacturing drawings, and assembly documentation
  • Familiarity with safe material handling practices and PPE usage
  • Strong inventory organization and labelling accuracy
