Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Entry-Level Ski Lift Maintenance Assistant/Mechanic to join our mountain operations team. This role provides a hands-on opportunity to work alongside experienced lift maintenance personnel to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all aerial and surface lift systems. No prior lift maintenance experience is required—just a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and mechanical aptitude.Job Specifications:

Job Responsibilities:
style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc- -Assist in routine maintenance and inspections of chairlifts, gondolas, and surface lifts style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
- -Support mechanics with daily start-up procedures and pre-operational checks style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
- -Perform basic tasks such as cleaning equipment, tightening bolts, and monitoring equipment under supervision style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
- -Learn to identify and report signs of mechanical wear or abnormal operation style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
- -Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from lift locations style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
- -Maintain clean and organized workspaces in lift shacks and maintenance areas style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
- -Adhere to all safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
- -Participate in on-the-job training and technical instruction to develop skills and advance to higher-level mechanic roles style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
- -Assist with snow removal around lift terminals and access areas as needed style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc
- -Respond to stoppages lifting and assist with mechanical troubleshooting under supervision
