Entry Level Trailer Mechanic

About the Job We're looking for a reliable full time Trailer Mechanic to join our team, working 40 hours per week plus 3-5 hours overtime, includes every other Saturday. This is a hands-on role working on a variety of trailers — utility trailers, cargo trailers, horse/ livestock trailers. No prior trailer experience necessary, we are willing to train! What You'll Be Doing Diagnosing and repairing trailer issues Brake work (electric & hydraulic) Bearing service and axle work Electrical troubleshooting (lights, wiring, etc.) General maintenance and safety checks Virginia State Inspections What We're Looking For Mechanical aptitude (trailers, automotive, farm equipment, or similar) Ability to work independently and stay on task Attention to detail — safety matters here Willingness to learn and study for Virginia State Inspector License Must be able to pass a drug test and lift more than 75lbs Flexible weekend availability- Every other Saturday is a requirement Pay Hourly rate based on experience Paid Vacation •We supply safe composite toe shoes and all seasonal shirts as well as any tools needed for repairs•

Pay:

$18.00 - $28.00 per hour
