RESPONSIBILITES

General environmental duties, wall washing, bed and room cleaning, discharge cleaning, trash removal. Required to work in the OR and perform all duties associated with the operating room assignment. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and prioritize responsibilities. Requires excellent customer service skill. Must be able to work in a team environment. Duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read and write simple English; Understand and follow verbal/written instructions. Must be able to speak, read and write English in order to comprehend in-services and department literature. Customer service oriented. Heavy physical effort

• lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Prolonged, extensive & considerable standing/walking. Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling. As part of employment at Southampton Hospital, there may be occasions when travel to other locations is needed to support operational needs.

Anticipated Pay Range:

Prior to start date, the selected candidate must meet the following requirements: Successfully complete pre-employment physical examination and obtain medical clearance from Stony Brook Southampton Hospital's Employee Health Services

• Complete electronic reference check with a minimum of three (3) professional references. Successfully complete a 4 panel drug screen
• Meet Regulatory Requirements for pre-employment screenings.

Provide a copy of any required New York State license(s)/certificate(s). Failure to comply with any of the above requirements could result in a delayed start date and/or revocation of the employment offer. The hiring department will be responsible for any fee incurred for examination .
