Environmental Waste Facilitator

Overview This temporary Environmental Waste Facilitator involves:

• Facilitating cardboard, metal, plastic, drum, and wood recycling through managing the daily process of gathering, baling, getting ready for shipping, auditing, and shipping all recycled material in the plant.
• Facilitating non-hazardous waste material through managing the daily process of gathering, storing, auditing, and shipping all non-hazardous waste material in the plant.
• Facilitating hazardous waste material through managing daily process of gathering, storing, auditing, and shipping all hazardous waste material in the plant.

• 90 days) Key Responsibilities
• Follow all plant and company safety guidelines.
• Be present at assigned times for cardboard, metal, wood, and drum delivery.
• Bale, transport, and weigh cardboard for entire location.
• Transport by Forklift and weigh paper for entire location.
• Transport by hand, count, and empty poly and metal drums for entire location.
• Transport by Forklift or Drum Dolley, weight and inspect all other non-hazardous and hazardous waste drums and totes.
• Keep a waste log of what is in the Waste Cage.
• Transport and inspect spent light bulbs for entire location.
• Bale, transport, and weight plastic for entire location.
• Record any pertinent data, as instructed by his/her mangager.
• Use lock out/tag out locks for trailers.
• Any other duties not listed above, as instructed by manager.
