EOD Operator

JOB SUMMARY

The EOD Operator is responsible for the precision downloading of various submunition delivery ordnance and preparing the submunition for the demilitarization process. This includes responsibilities such as contributing to process development, safety evaluation, incident response, along with other related duties. The EOD Operator's mission is to execute the pre-disassembly of the ordnance, among other tasks as needed, in a safe and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Follow all Expal process work instructions and safety standards Ensure proper handling, processing, and disposition of all ordnance, components, and explosives at all times Ensure training and understanding of the proper handling and unique hazards of various types of ordnance and explosives that may be encountered Ensure a clean and orderly work area at all times Assist the Site Supervisor and Demil Operators with EOD support and safety evaluations as necessary
