Job Description

Category Imaging - EP Tech Job Type Contract Exceptional opportunity for an experienced EP Tech to contribute expertise in a dynamic imaging department within a respected healthcare environment. This contract position is ideal for professionals eager to further refine their skills in electrophysiology and cardiac imaging alongside dedicated colleagues.
Qualifications:
Registered or Certified Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist credentials required Prior experience working in an imaging or EP lab setting Proficiency with a range of EP mapping and ablation systems Comprehensive understanding of cardiac electrophysiology procedures Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Attention to detail, patient safety, and adherence to established protocols Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians in performing cardiac electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implants Operate and calibrate EP and imaging equipment throughout each procedure Monitor and document patient status during and post-procedure, ensuring comfort and safety Ensure accurate preparation and maintenance of procedure rooms Maintain high standards in infection prevention, quality assurance, and documentation Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and technical staff to deliver optimal patient care Support training and education efforts for peers and new staff as needed This is a contract position offering exposure to cutting-edge technology and a supportive, collaborative environment.
