Equine Ambulatory Veterinary Technician Chaparral Veterinary Medical Center - Cave Creek, AZ Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week Chaparral Veterinary Medical Center is seeking a motivated and experienced Equine Ambulatory Veterinary Technician to join our mobile veterinary team. This position supports ambulatory veterinarians in providing high-quality equine care in the field. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during farm and facility calls Safely handle and restrain horses for exams and procedures Assist with diagnostics, radiology, reproduction work, dentistry, and treatments Collect and process samples Maintain mobile unit equipment, inventory, and cleanliness Communicate with clients regarding patient care and follow-up Participate in rotating on-call emergency coverage Qualifications Minimum 2 years of veterinary or horse handling experience required Strong horse handling skills Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions Strong communication and organizational skills Schedule & Benefits 4-day work week + rotating on-call schedule Competitive pay based on experience Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, CE allowance, 401(k) matching, employee discount, and more

Spend your days traveling to barns and ranches, working hands-on with horses, and supporting veterinarians in the field.
