Job Description

Escrow Assistant Peninsula Escrow is seeking a highly experienced, dependable, and fast-paced
FULL-TIME
Escrow Assistant to support a high-volume escrow operation within our Malaga Cove office. We are looking for a self-motivated, accountable, trustworthy, and friendly professional with prior escrow experience and a strong working knowledge of the RBJ escrow processing system. The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple transactions with urgency, accuracy, and professionalism. Daily responsibilities will include but not limited to: Assist Escrow Officers with high-volume residential escrow transactions from opening through closing Prepare escrow instructions, opening packages, loan documents, estimated statements, amendments, and closing packages Open, maintain, and organize escrow files while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance throughout the transaction process Order and manage title reports, payoff demands, HOA documents, lender conditions, and other transaction requirements Monitor timelines, contingencies, and closing deadlines proactively to ensure timely closings Coordinate communication between buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, title companies, and all parties involved in the transaction Schedule signings, assist with funding and disbursements, and support closing logistics Handle incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries professionally and timely Support a fast-paced, high-volume workflow while balancing multiple competing priorities with urgency and attention to detail Act as a liaison and maintain communication between customers and all parties involved in the transaction Assist Escrow Officer in all tasks related to client's transactions. Ensure all parties including the buyers, sellers and any agents receive copies of final settlement statements prior to closing, after receiving lenders final approval Job Qualifications Minimum 5+ years escrow experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of RBJ Software System The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of escrow procedures / regulations. Strong knowledge of escrow processing, timelines, and transaction flow required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must have strong phone and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Self-Motivated and Positive attitude Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are essential Deadline orientated All potential hires will require a background check.
