Part-time Seasonal Estate Ambassador Reports to:Hospitality Manager About Col Solare Winery:
Col Solare Winery began as a collaboration between Marchesi Antinori of Italy and Chateau Ste. Michelle of Washington State in 1995. This partnership has grown into the creation of premium Washington wine using Italian expertise. Over time, the partnership flourished, and in 2024, Marchesi Antinori acquired full ownership of Col Solare, solidifying their commitment to producing world-class wines in the Columbia Valley. Summary of position We are seeking a dynamic and guest focused part-time, seasonal Estate Ambassador to join our team at Col Solare Winery. As an Estate Ambassador you will play a key role in providing exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for conducting wine tastings, educating guests about our wines, winemaking processes, and promoting our brand through exemplary guest service.Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests to the tasting room in a professional and friendly manner. Conduct wine tastings and provide detailed descriptions of wines, vineyards, and production methods, as well as the history of Col Solare. Assist guests in selecting wines and making purchasing decisions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room in addition to common areas to ensure a welcoming environment for guests. Process wine sales and transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems. Assist with stocking inventory and replenishing wine supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to always ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service.Qualifications:
Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or guest service preferred. Passion for wine and eagerness to learn about our wines and winemaking processes. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and interact with diverse groups of people. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as required. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Eligibility for a Washington State Food Worker Card from the Benton-Franklin Health District. MAST 12 certification required Physical requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 40 pounds. Comfortable working in an indoor/outdoor environment, including during inclement weather.Benefits:
