The Role Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations and Mill Services , the Estimator is responsible for estimating work Purchasing Equipment and creation of proposals. Requirements Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Result Items Develops breakdown of costs for each assigned project and its components. Secures quotations from suppliers for purchased components. Develops file of information on job performance for use in future estimating activities. Creation of final proposal. Print routers for V412; ensure parts are routed Ensure BOMs are created for V412 Coordinate with Callery inventory and shipping departments to locate, pull and ship to Ambridge for V412 jobs Migo V412 jobs or coordinate to accomplish as necessary #1AndritzWay Core Behaviors Customer Focus Ownership for Performance d Commitment Openness Education and Experience Highschool diploma or equivalent. Must have familiarity with manufacturing practices in mill-type equipment, and with commercially available components. Design and/or shop experience on related equipment required. Ability to read blueprints is required.
