Position Objective:

This position is accountable for assuming the responsibility for supporting the health and wellness of all students participating in summer programming in the Freetown Lakeville Regional School District.

Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate student health needs Assume the responsibility for assessment and triage of sick and injured children and staff Assist in the identification and education of students with special health problems and special educational needs Respond to potential health problems and/or concerns Observe school facilities and recommend modification necessary to maintain optimum health and safety of students and school personnel Administer medications per school department and Massachusetts Department of Public Health policy Classroom resource person Assume other duties assigned by the ESY Director This program runs from July 6, 2026 to August 7, 2026. Monday-Thursday 12:30-5:30 and Friday from 7am-5:30pm. The nurse will need to be available to be on site.

Required Qualifications:

Must have a current valid, license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts Must be DESE certified or certifiable as Nurse, All Levels Experience working with Students with Disabilities Experience working in the Freetown Lakeville Schools, preferred

Salary & Terms of Employment:

In accordance with the Freetown-Lakeville Regional School Collective Bargaining Agreement. Employment is contingent upon job performance, program needs, and funding. Daily Rate $150 - $300 FLRSD is committed to providing equal educational and employment opportunities to all individuals.
