We are currently seeking a professional and proactive Event & Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This is a dynamic, hybrid position designed for a leader who balances administrative precision with operational excellence. We are looking for someone who excels at managing private events from the initial proposal to final execution, while also maintaining a strong presence on the floor to support daily service. You will serve as the primary liaison between our corporate clients and our internal operations, ensuring a consistent 5-star experience for every guest.
Duties Event Lifecycle Management:
Oversee all private events from the initial inquiry and proposal through to post-event follow-up.
Operational Coordination:
Serve as the logistical lead between the kitchen, bar, and host teams to ensure every event is executed seamlessly.
Business Development:
Build and nurture strong relationships with local corporate partners and community neighbors to drive recurring event opportunities.
Administrative Oversight:
Maintain the "Upcoming Events" sheet in Drive weekly to support accurate financial planning and forecasting. Operational Leadership (Floor Support):
Service Excellence:
Supervise daily floor operations, adjusting floor plans in real-time based on reservations and team performance.
Team Development:
Mentor servers and hosts on menu knowledge, allergens, wine pairings, and our specific hospitality standards.
Guest Experience:
Monitor guest satisfaction to maintain our 4.6+ rating goals and identify opportunities to enhance beverage and dessert sales.
Shift Management:
Handle guest feedback and operational incidents with professionalism, reporting directly to the General Manager and ensuring daily shift reports are completed consistent
Experience Proven Experience:
A minimum of 4 years of verifiable experience in leadership roles within the hospitality sector, with a strong focus on event coordination and high-volume operations.
Technical Proficiency:
Hands-on experience managing industry platforms including TripleSeat for events, OpenTable for reservations, and Toast for POS and reporting.
Effective Communication:
The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with everyone from corporate executives to our back-of-house team.
A Collaborative Mindset:
A proactive, "team-first" attitude with a willingness to jump in and support the staff wherever needed.
Detail-Oriented:
Strong organizational habits, particularly regarding reporting and administrative deadlines.
Pay:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour
