Event Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and guest-focused Event Manager to oversee private events and group bookings. Our venue features an upscale dining experience alongside a casual bar with outdoor live music, hosting weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings. This role combines event sales, client coordination, and on-site operational leadership. Responsibilities Event Sales & Client Management Respond to event inquiries and qualify leads Conduct site tours and client meetings Create proposals, menus, and event packages Close bookings and maintain pipeline Act as primary client contact Event Planning & Coordination Develop BEOs and timelines Communicate with kitchen, bar, and service teams Coordinate logistics, layouts, and rentals Ensure all expectations are documented On-Site Execution Act as floor manager during shifts Lead pre-shift briefings when required Maintain service and presentation standards Sales Growth & Outreach Build relationships with local businesses and planners Drive repeat business and referrals Assist with promoting events and programming Qualifications 2-4+ years in hospitality, event management, or sales Strong client and operations management skills Excellent communication and organization Experience with private events preferred Ability to perform under pressure Flexible schedule including weekends

Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate:

$22•$25 per hour

Commission:

2.5% on booked and executed event revenue

Estimated Total Compensation:

$55,000•$75,000+ annually

Pay:

$22.00•$25.00 per hour
