Job Description

Creatively Cultivated Events is seeking stylish, reliable, and energetic Event Assistants to join our growing event team throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia. This is a part-time, event-based position with flexible scheduling based on upcoming events and client bookings. Hours will vary week to week, with most shifts taking place evenings and weekends. We create elevated celebrations and unforgettable guest experiences — from luxury social events and branded corporate activations to balloon installations and mobile bar experiences with The Bar by Creatively Cultivated Events. This role is perfect for someone who loves beautiful details, creative environments, hospitality, and being part of the behind-the-scenes magic that brings events to life.
What You'll Help Create:
Styled luxury event setups Balloon installations and statement backdrops Elevated cocktail and mocktail experiences Beautiful tablescapes and décor moments Seamless guest experiences from setup to breakdown Social-media-worthy event environments
Responsibilities:
Assist with event setup and breakdown Load and unload décor, rentals, inventory, and supplies Support balloon prep and installations Style décor areas, tables, backdrops, and display setups Assist with mobile bar setup and hospitality support Help maintain smooth event flow and guest experience Keep event spaces clean, polished, and organized throughout service Support post-event breakdown and inventory organization
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has a positive attitude and professional presence Loves events, décor, hospitality, or creative production Works well in fast-paced environments Is dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Is comfortable lifting 30-50 lbs and being on their feet during events Has reliable transportation Is available evenings and weekends
Bonus Points If You Have:
Balloon experience Hospitality or restaurant experience Bartending or catering experience Social media/content creation skills A creative eye for aesthetics and styling
Compensation:
Starting at $20-22/hour based on experience 4-hour minimum per event shift Opportunities for growth into Lead Event Assistant and Event Production roles

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
