Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budgets, providing expert guidance on venue options, catering, and additional services Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure flawless execution from setup to teardown Negotiate contracts with vendors, caterers, and clients to secure the best terms while maintaining quality standards Coordinate all aspects of event marketing and promotion to maximize attendance and visibility Manage event logistics including venue setup, catering arrangements, audiovisual needs, and guest accommodations Upsell additional services such as premium packages, upgrades, or special amenities to enhance guest experiences and increase revenue Oversee day-of event operations, ensuring smooth execution and exceptional customer service for all attendees Maintain strong communication with clients, vendors, and team members throughout the planning process and during events Track expenses, manage budgets efficiently, and ensure all contracts are fulfilled according to agreed terms Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for continuous improvement Experience Proven experience in event planning or management within hospitality settings such as hotels, restaurants, or banquet facilities Strong background in sales techniques including negotiation and upselling strategies Familiarity with event marketing practices to promote events effectively Hands-on experience with banquet operations or catering services is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective time management skills Knowledge of budgeting processes and contract management is essential Previous experience in hospitality roles such as restaurant or hotel operations will be considered an asset Strong communication skills combined with organizational prowess to coordinate diverse teams and vendors effectively Join us as an Events and Sales Coordinator where your energy fuels unforgettable experiences!
