Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as an Excavation Laborer and be a vital part of building infrastructure that makes a difference! In this energetic role, you will assist with excavation and site preparation activities, operate heavy equipment, and support various construction operations. Your contribution will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Assist with excavation tasks using equipment such as shovels, rakes, wackerpacker, and anythingto stay busy on construction sites. Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and operational guidelines. Support site setup by loading and unloading materials with dump trucks and other vehicles. Perform routine inspections of equipment like Caterpillar machinery to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs. Help with site cleanup, material handling, and ensuring the work area remains organized and hazard-free. Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to execute paving, horizontal drilling, tanker operations, and other specialized tasks. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and report any safety concerns or incidents immediately. Experience Prior experience working on construction sites is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and tankers is a strong plus. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience operating commercial vehicles like dump trucks is advantageous. Familiarity with construction safety standards and procedures is essential for a safe working environment. Hands-on experience with horizontal drilling or paving projects will set candidates apart. Ability to operate various construction machinery including Caterpillar equipment confidently. Strong teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in construction operations.
