Excavation operator for new construction plumbing

Duties Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks Assist with grading and paving activities to ensure proper surface elevation and drainage. Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment before use and adhering to all safety protocols on-site. Collaborate with plumbing crews to accurately mark excavation boundaries and ensure precise digging depths. Perform routine maintenance checks on heavy machinery and report any issues promptly. Follow project plans and specifications to complete excavation tasks efficiently and accurately. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshootin Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and regulations. Ability to read construction plans and interpret technical drawings related to plumbing installation sites. Knowledge of horizontal directional drilling techniques is a plus. Previous experience working on construction sites involving water lines or underground utilities is highly desirable.
