Job Description

Executive Assistant Apex Tool Group United States, Maryland, Sparks May 01, 2026 The Blueprint (Role Profile) The Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting the SVP/President of the North American Hand Tools division. He/she will assist in performing all tasks necessary to effectively maintain daily operations for the SVP along with coordination with all other administrative associates within ATG organization both domestic and abroad. This position will be based in any of the following: Hunt Valley, MD, Huntersville, NC or Apex, NC. Come build your future with us! The Build (Responsibilities) Maintain the meeting calendar and travel schedule on behalf of the SVP
Assess the urgency and importance of situations and take appropriate action to determine the necessary level of involvement
Compose correspondence as needed on both routine and complex matters
Schedule and organize activities such as meetings, luncheons, travel requirements, and department activities as required
Complete expense reports accurately, within a timely manner and to meet accounting guidelines on behalf of the SVP
Handle additional support duties, as required The Toolbox (Qualifications) High School Diploma required, Associates or Undergraduate Degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of previous executive level support experience within a multi-structured environment
Ability to interact in a professional manner with all levels of management
Proactive, able to deal with ambiguity, prioritize work resources, and juggle multiple tasks in a manner transparent to the team.
Excellent time management skills - keeps self and team on time with schedules
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently to achieve results; thinks independently as needed to optimize calendars and budget; able to be creative in finding solutions with a high degree of accuracy
Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and ability to accommodate working styles and perspectives of diverse individuals
Demonstrated maturity to be entrusted with the knowledge and handling of confidential information; maintains confidentiality
Comfort with technology; Demonstrated and extensive knowledge of and proficiency with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Familiarity with Concur (or any other) travel and expense system
Ability to travel approximately 10%
