Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Director (ED) of the Levy County branch of Habitat for Humanity of the Nature Coast is responsible for the overall successful operation, management, and strategic direction of the local affiliate. The ED will manage day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with the mission and vision of Habitat for Humanity International and the Nature Coast affiliate's policies and goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Administration Provide visionary leadership and direction for all Levy County affiliate programs, services, and operations. Manage and oversee all administrative functions, including office operations, record-keeping, and regulatory compliance. Develop, implement, and maintain sound operational policies and procedures in collaboration with Executive Officers. Serve as the primary local representative and spokesperson for Levy County Habitat for Humanity to the community, partners, and media. Prepare and present regular reports on operational, financial, and programmatic performance to the Executive Officers and, as requested, to the Board of Directors. Financial Management & Fundraising Develop and manage the annual Levy County operational and program budgets in partnership with the Executive Officers. Oversee all local fundraising initiatives, including grant writing, donor relations, special events, and capital campaigns. Ensure strong fiscal accountability, prudent resource management, and compliance with all financial regulations and Habitat for Humanity policies. Cultivate and maintain relationships with local businesses, churches, community groups, and individual donors. Program Operations (Family Services) Manage applicant recruitment, screening, selection, and support for partner families. Ensure partner families complete "sweat equity" requirements and financial education. Develop and maintain relationships with critical stakeholders, including local government officials and community service providers. Staff & Volunteer Management Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate Levy County staff and volunteers, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Develop and manage a robust volunteer program, including recruitment, scheduling, training, and recognition for all construction, ReStore (if applicable), and administrative needs.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Mission-Driven:
A strong commitment to affordable housing and the ability to explain the "Habitat model" to private and public stakeholders. Ability to work well with all customers, including staff, partner families, volunteers, business, religious and political community agencies. • Preference will be given to candidates with deep professional networks and residency within Levy County.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Education:
A Bachelor's degree Business Administration • Preference is given for experience with non-profit volunteer-intensive ogranization.

$60,932.04 per year
