What You'll Do:

This position focuses on custom sheet metal fabrication and welding of automotive exhaust systems and components. The ideal candidate has strong experience in metal forming, cutting, fitting, and precision welding of thin-gauge materials.

Daily Tasks:

• Fabricate custom exhaust components from sheet metal (stainless steel, aluminized steel, and mild steel).
• Cut, roll, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions and specifications.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on thin-gauge sheet metal.
• Fabricate collectors, mufflers, flanges, transitions, and custom exhaust housings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication layouts
• Measure, mark, and assemble components for precise fitment.
• Inspect finished welds for strength, alignment, and leak prevention.
• Grind, polish, and finish welded surfaces as needed.
• Maintain fabrication tools and welding equipment.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and quality standards.

What You Bring:

Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding Strong

MIG & TIG

welding skills Ability to work with stainless steel and other exhaust-grade metals Experience using brake presses, rollers, shears, plasma cutters, and grinders Ability to read fabrication drawings and use measuring tools accurately

Preferred Qualifications:

Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) Knowledge of metal forming techniques and layout development Familiarity with purge welding stainless steel
