Experienced Parts Advisor Vaden Automotive - Savannah, GA Experienced | Detail-Oriented | Customer-Focused Vaden Automotive is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting both our internal service department and retail customers by sourcing, ordering, and managing automotive parts efficiently and accurately. This position requires strong communication skills, excellent organization, and a solid understanding of parts operations within a dealership or automotive service environment. Key Responsibilities Assist service technicians with parts look-up, availability, and procurement for repairs and maintenance Handle retail and wholesale parts sales, providing accurate recommendations based on customer needs Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, special orders, returns, and inventory movement Process parts orders efficiently to ensure timely delivery and repair completion Perform inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and assist with reordering as needed Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to source backordered or hard-to-find parts Support service advisors with parts availability to maintain accurate repair timelines Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department Follow all dealership policies, safety procedures, and manufacturer standards Qualifications Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or automotive parts specialist (dealership experience preferred) Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components Experience using electronic parts catalogs and DMS systems (CDK experience preferred) Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Valid driver's license and ability to meet dealership employment requirements Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and performance Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for advancement and continued training within the Vaden Automotive organization For more than 50 years , Vaden Automotive has been committed to developing talented employees and building strong teams across our dealerships.
