Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and reliably, contributing to our reputation for excellence in automotive service. This position offers an exciting opportunity for seasoned professionals eager to apply their mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately. Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Calibrate and align vehicle systems such as wheel alignment and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to manufacturer specifications. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Complete auto estimating procedures by accurately assessing repair needs and communicating with customers about required services. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, dealership protocols, and industry best practices while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Proficiency with automotive diagnostics equipment and ability to read schematics effectively. Experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair procedures. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred but not required. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools confidently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Valid certification in automotive repair or service technician credentials; ASE certification is a plus. Knowledge of auto estimating software is advantageous.
