This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care across a diverse range of medical specialties, utilizing your extensive clinical expertise and leadership. As an experienced physician, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive evaluations, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough medical assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations, ensuring accurate patient diagnoses. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate the latest evidence-based practices across various specialties such as psychiatry, cardiology, neurology, or endocrinology. Utilize advanced Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic and EMR platforms to document patient encounters meticulously, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. Perform specialized procedures including medical imaging interpretation, catheterization, suturing, or wound care as required by your specialty. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including nurses, radiologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals—to coordinate inpatient and outpatient care effectively. Engage in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects to advance medical knowledge and enhance patient safety. Provide patient education and health coaching to promote wellness, disease management, and preventive care strategies. Skills Extensive experience with EHR systems such as Ecw, Epic and other EMR platforms for documentation and clinical workflows. Able to see all ages including Pediatrics Good with procedures Proficiency in interpreting medical imaging modalities including CT scans, radiographs, mammography, nuclear medicine, or ultrasound. Strong knowledge of specialty areas such as psychiatry, cardiology (including cardiac catheterization), neurology (including neurocritical care), endocrinology, ophthalmology, obstetrics & gynecology (including family planning), oncology, dermatology, gastroenterology, nephrology, rheumatology, immunology, infectious disease care, pediatric critical & intensive care, neonatal ventilator management, hospice & palliative medicine, trauma medicine (Level I & II trauma centers), urgent care settings, and more. Skilled in performing complex procedures such as catheterization, suturing, airway management, IV infusion administration, wound care including ostomy care or hyperbaric medicine treatments. Familiarity with medical coding (CPT/ICD) for billing purposes and compliance standards like NCQA standards and HIPAA regulations. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in inpatient hospital environments—including ICU and post-operative care—and outpatient clinics across various specialties. Strong communication skills for patient assessment discussions and interdisciplinary team collaboration. Knowledge of clinical research protocols and experience contributing to medical studies or trials is a plus.
