We are not a corporate dental mill, we are a close-knit, ethical practice that takes pride in delivering a high standard of patient care in a positive, no-drama environment. We are looking for someone confident, independent, organized, and strong in communication who is not afraid to jump right in and take control of the front office while helping create an exceptional patient experience. Dental office experience is required. Previous dental assisting experience is highly preferred, as this role involves both administrative and clinical communication with patients. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of dentistry who can comfortably answer patient questions, explain treatment needs, and help patients feel informed and cared for.
Responsibilities Include:
Answering incoming patient phone calls Checking patients in and out Scheduling appointments Presenting treatment plans and explaining treatment needs Answering clinical questions and concerns from patients Collecting payments Filing dental insurance claims (fee-for-service office) Running daily, weekly, and monthly reports Assisting patients with professionalism, confidence, and compassion Working independently while also functioning as part of a strong team
Qualifications:
Dental office experience required Previous dental assisting experience preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures Familiarity with dental software Insurance knowledge and understanding of dental codes HIPAA compliance knowledge Strong communication and multitasking skills Dependability is crucial Positive attitude and team mentality
