Experienced Dog Trainer - Full Time

The Collar Club Academy is seeking an experienced full-time dog trainer to join our team in Denton, Texas. We are looking for a trainer with real hands-on experience beyond basic obedience training. The ideal candidate understands dog behavior, can confidently work dogs off leash, and has experience handling behavioral cases including reactivity, anxiety, aggression, and impulse control issues. This position involves working with board and train dogs, private lessons, public training sessions, and client transfer lessons. We are seeking someone with strong handling skills who can also communicate well with clients and help guide owners through the training process.

Requirements:

Professional dog training experience Experience with multiple training tools and methods Strong understanding of dog behavior and behavior modification Ability to work dogs reliably off leash Experience handling behavioral cases Comfortable conducting client meetings and lessons Reliable, professional, and motivated

Board and train handling Off-leash training Behavior modification work Private lessons and transfer lessons Public training sessions Writing training updates/report cards Maintaining a clean and safe training environment This is a fast-paced training environment working with a variety of breeds, temperaments, and training goals. We are looking for someone confident, knowledgeable, and passionate about producing quality results.

Position Details:

Full-time position Minimum 40 hours per week Consistent scheduling and steady hours

Pay:

$22-$27/hour based on experience
