Job Description

You must possess Estimating experience, ideally using Xactimate, to be eligible for this position . Please advise hiring manager if you possess any IICRC industry certifications . Established disaster restoration and construction company is seeking a full-time Disaster Restoration Manager, 21 yr + with a valid driver's license. We will train and certify the right candidate.
  • You must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record (no DWI/DUI).
  • Previous management experience is essential.
The ability to lead with respect, foster teamwork, and re-inspire others through thoughtful, effective leadership is highly valued. The Manager will be primarily responsible for writing profitable estimates. This is one of the most important roles in our company, as you scope the job site, meet with clients, make the sale, oversee work, ensure our work is profitable and most importantly, thorough and accurate. As the mitigation manager, you will oversee technician training, curating the schedule, ensuring daily administrative tasks are completed accurately, budgeting, efficiently running jobs, maintaining safety standards, and managing all jobs from initiation to completion with an emphasis on client relationships. Exceptional customer service skills are a must. You must be a self-starter and be able to navigate numerous office responsibilities while also spending time visiting job sites, meeting with clients and coordinating scopes with adjusters and third parties. You must be a people-person and enjoy picking up the phone, having relationship with vendors, and third parties, as well as our clients. This is a huge part of the day-to-day success. This position requires you to be able to accomplish, daily, weekly and monthly set tasks, as well as tasks the come up daily that are time-sensitive. This role is salary as the time requirements are not always customary to 8-5 pm. Often, there are tasks that are due outside of 8 am to 5 pm. On the daily, you will respond to primarily water damage disasters, including Cat 3 and mold jobs. You will be monitoring the set up of equipment, overseeing scheduling, dispatching technicians, ensuring that the correct and accurate scope of work is being performed. You must think with common sense and have an experienced eye for restoration. Your daily responsibilities will be guaranteeing daily quality control on each job and ensuring an enjoyable customer experience from project launch to completion. You will be in charge of fostering client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a job for someone who is a leader and wants to advance with the company. As an Emergency Service provider, Managers are expected to be on-call. Leadership at this level requires a 24/7 mindset—consistent availability and ongoing communication are essential parts of the role. This is not a job where you clock in at 8 am and clock out at 5 pm. Black pants and heavy duty work boots are required and we provide a company uniform. All employees travel to jobs in company vehicles and are provided with tools. Please note any relevant training or certifications. Candidates must demonstrate strong estimating skills and have experience working with estimating software. Proficiency in preparing mold, fire, water, contents, restoration, and cleaning estimates is required. The ideal candidate is highly computer proficient, with accurate and efficient data entry skills and the ability to transition seamlessly between tasks. Strong communication skills are essential, including confidence in handling phone communications. A high level of energy, initiative, and professionalism is expected in order to succeed in this role. Compensation is negotiable and commensurate with experience for the right candidate.
